What is the purpose of technology? Improve the human being or destroy them? The world has been changed fast each day. Fifty years ago, was impossible to imagine the massive incorporation in our society in daily tasks. Today we have cars driving alone, poems and songs have been written by artificial intelligence, high-speed trains, smartphones, intelligent homes, and the internet, for instance.

However, the same technology is part of military initiatives through wars and, has responsible for climate change.

What is the purpose of technology? To improve humanity or to destroy it? The world is changing rapidly every day. Fifty years ago, it was impossible to imagine the massive incorporation of technology into our daily lives. Today, we have cars that can drive themselves, poems and songs written by artificial intelligence, high-speed trains, smartphones, smart homes, and the internet, among other things. However, the same technology is also involved in military initiatives through war and is responsible for climate change.

Although technology allows us to read and spread information to thousands of people in seconds, we must also acknowledge how technology has had negative effects on the world.

Firstly, the conception of technology has been curiously separated from nature. For instance, litter and pollution are often ignored during the production process. The seas, forests, animals, and even human beings are suffering from the irresponsible idea of not caring about our common space, Earth. When technology is created, natural resources are crucial. However, big enterprises are using these natural resources as if they were unlimited, especially water.
